One of Arca’s U.S.-based clients is seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor based in the Philippines with exceptional storytelling instincts. This role is not for editors who merely assemble footage or rely on templates and flashy effects. Our client requires a creative professional who understands the core message of each video, discovers the story within raw footage, and makes deliberate editorial choices that enhance that story. You will need to articulate why specific shots belong in a sequence, justify pacing decisions, explain how B-roll supports the narrative, and select music that aligns with the emotional tone of the piece. The primary projects include long-form YouTube videos, brand stories, interviews, testimonials, educational content, and commercial productions. What You'll Do Transform raw footage into polished, story-driven long-form videos Identify the central narrative, strongest moments, and emotional direction within footage Make independent editorial decisions regarding structure, sequencing, pacing, and tone Use B-roll strategically to clarify ideas, reinforce meaning, and engage viewers Choose music that supports the story without distraction Edit interviews and testimonials into clear, persuasive narratives Create brand and website videos that effectively communicate a company’s mission and audience Enhance viewer retention while maintaining professionalism and content substance Perform professional color correction, audio cleanup, sound design, and finishing touches Incorporate titles, lower thirds, motion graphics, and other visual elements to strengthen storytelling Manage feedback and revisions efficiently while upholding high-quality standards Keep footage, project files, assets, and exports meticulously organized Communicate proactively with team members and stakeholders This is a full-time position with remote eligibility, ideal for experienced video editors passionate about storytelling and creative video production.
