Job Description Prose on Pixels is the end-to-end production entity of the Havas global network of advertising agencies. We produce videos across a broad cross-section of genres and techniques - everything from live action broadcast to complex 3D animation, to intricate motion graphics. We have studios across 13 countries, producing content in over 80 languages.
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor to join our team. This is a key role that will significantly contribute to the visual storytelling of our projects. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and detail-oriented editor who possesses a deep understanding of editing techniques, pacing, and the latest industry software.
You will be expected to work seamlessly with a team of creatives and producers, sharing your ideas and expertise to create visually compelling videos. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will be interacting with a variety of stakeholders throughout the creative process.

What the candidate will do:Assemble raw footage and select the best takes for the final product.Trim, cut, and splice video sequences to create a cohesive narrative flow.Apply transitions, effects, and color correction to enhance the visual appeal.Incorporate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to create immersive experiences.Optimize video quality for various formats and platforms (social media, websites, etc.).Structure video content to create engaging narratives and maintain viewer interest.Ensure pacing is appropriate for the intended audience and platform.Collaborate with scriptwriters or producers to refine storylines and pacing.Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro to manipulate and enhance video footage.Understand video codecs, file formats, and compression techniques.Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure compatibility across different software and platforms.Work closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to understand project goals and requirements.Interpret and implement feedback effectively to meet client expectations.Clearly communicate progress, challenges, and creative ideas to relevant stakeholders.Organize and manage video projects, including footage, assets, and project timelines.Meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality video content.Stay informed about emerging video editing trends and software advancements.Create simple motion graphics elements (titles, lower thirds, etc.).Collaborate with motion designers for more complex animations.Perform basic color correction to ensure consistency and visual appeal.Work with colorists for more advanced grading and color adjustments.Edit and mix audio tracks, including dialogue, music, and sound effects.Collaborate with sound designers for more complex audio work.Attend client meetings and presentations to discuss project goals and progress.Provide clear and concise explanations of editing choices and technical aspects to clients.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications5 + years of professional experience in video editing.Proven track record as a video editor, demonstrated through a portfolio or reel of work.Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects, is a must have.Experience in various video editing styles and genres (narrative, documentary, commercial, etc.)Familiarity with different video formats, platforms, and delivery specifications.English oral/spoken, B2 level or above.

Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Media Studies, or a related field (preferred but not always required).Experience working in a multicultural or international environment.
