About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the development of a new web application built with Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, and TypeScript, heavily integrated with a Contentful platform. The frontend will be part of a broader microservices architecture deployed on Kubernetes. You will build the application from the ground up, write production-ready code daily, shape architectural decisions, and represent the frontend team in discussions with a client.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain high quality code and tests
● Contribute to planning, grooming, estimation, technical design, and quality assurance
● Maintain frontend architecture standards and best practices
● Provide technical leadership, and code reviews
● Collaborate cross-functionally with Backend, QA, DevOps, and Product teams
● Join to client-facing meetings, drive architectural discussions
Skills & Requirements Must have
●Strong experience with React and Next.js (App Router) in production environments
●Deep understanding of SSR, SSG, ISR, and hybrid rendering strategies
● Expert-level TypeScript and modern frontend architecture design
● Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
● Experience integrating frontend applications within distributed microservices ecosystems, including API contract awareness ● Strong knowledge of frontend testing (e.g., Playwright, Jest)
● Ability to define and maintain architectural standards and leading technical decisions
● Experience with headless CMS platforms - Contentful
Should have
● Experience delivering frontend applications within CI/CD pipelines and containerized cloud environments (Docker, Azure DevOps)
● Performance optimization and accessibility best practices
● Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
● Monitoring & observability tooling Soft Skills
● Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
● Team player both in attitude and achieving results.
● Understands client needs, constraints, and concerns before proposing solutions. ● Acts as a reliable point of contact, ensuring commitments are tracked and delivered.
