Job PurposeWe are specialists in transportation services including container and domestic trucking, rail, warehousing, and logistics throughout the Midwest, Ohio Valley, Gulf, and East Coast of the United States. The Contractor Settlement Analyst works closely with our 27 field locations and corporate HQ staff to timely and accurately execute weekly payments for our fleet of 1,100 Independent Contractor drivers.Duties and Responsibilities• Prepares and distributes accurate contractor settlements on time• Perform daily/weekly tasks to assist in the timely approvals and set weeks• Verify and audit contractor document scans• Prepare and perform weekly preliminary settlement statement audits• Research and respond to discrepancies or inquiries regarding settlement issues or concerns• Assist contractors with system guidance and troubleshooting• High-volume verbal and written communication with team members and contractors• Provide administrative support to field offices and contractors• Document and maintain procedures for assigned processes• Maintain effective working relationships with organization employees and contractors• Other tasks and projects as assignedQualifications• 2+ years working in a banking, payroll processing, or customer service environment• High attention to detail is required• Flexible and open to adjusting to an evolving industry• Understanding and level of expertise in IC settlement schedules• Strong organizational skills• Must be a hands-on, service-oriented individual with exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must also be able to work independently on a variety of concurrent assignments• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial matters• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks• Ability to learn a new system quickly is required. Trinium experience is a plus.• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheetsEducation • High School diploma or GED required• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
