Joining Ventus offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of clean energy infrastructure in the region.Role Description The Site Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Guatemala, overseeing the execution of renewable energy projects from planning through completion. This role manages day-to-day site activities, including coordinating construction teams, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The Site Project Manager monitors project progress, leads regular site meetings, prepares status reports, and addresses technical and operational issues as they arise. Responsibilities include managing logistics for materials and equipment, supporting inspections and quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and local regulations. The role also requires close collaboration with engineering, procurement, and client stakeholders to maintain clear communication and achieve project objectives.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and budget tracking.Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills for coordinating material deliveries, tracking orders, and ensuring timely supply to the project site.Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills for organizing transportation, warehousing, and on-site material handling.Candidates should possess Inspection skills to support quality assurance, verify work against specifications, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Professional experience managing construction or renewable energy projects, preferably in an EPC environment.Strong leadership abilities with experience directing multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and risk management.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Proficiency in project management software and standard office tools; familiarity with renewable energy technologies is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Guatemala, including travel to remote project locations as needed.
