Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern is a part-time, on-site role based in San Juan. This intern will assist in planning, creating, and publishing social media content that showcases Las Ruinas’ services, amenities, and brand values across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Day-to-day tasks include drafting captions, capturing photos and short videos on-site, scheduling posts, engaging with followers through comments and direct messages, and monitoring trends relevant to wellness and fitness. The intern will support digital marketing campaigns, help track basic performance metrics, and collaborate with the team to ensure messaging is consistent with the brand’s voice. This role offers hands-on experience in social media marketing within a wellness and fitness environment.
QualificationsStrong skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with an interest in wellness, fitness, or hospitality.Ability in Social Media Content Creation, including basic photo/video capture and platform-specific content optimization.Knowledge of Marketing principles and audience engagement strategies.Effective Communication skills, including clear writing and professional online interaction.Basic familiarity with social media analytics tools and content scheduling platforms is beneficial.Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, on-site environment.Comfort working in a bathhouse and gym setting, with respect for guest privacy and a professional demeanor.
