Social Media Sales Specialist + Designer

About the role

Somia is looking for a Social Media Sales Specialist + Designer to own the day-to-day execution of its social presence. This hands-on role combines social selling, social media design and social media management.

Somia is a nervous system retraining company in the health and wellness online education space. It helps people navigating chronic symptoms, pain, illness and dysregulation create meaningful, lasting recovery and move toward a fuller life. Somia is a small remote team building programs, education and social content for a highly engaged audience.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day DMs, comments and audience conversations across Somia’s social accounts.
• Identify potential customers and leads, answer questions, follow up and help move interested people toward the right Somia offer.
• Recognize buying signals, ask good questions, answer pre-sale questions and objections, and recommend the appropriate offer when there is a fit.
• Move conversations toward a sale without making them feel scripted, pressured or transactional, and recognize when selling is not appropriate.
• Create polished social content, including carousels, Stories, campaign graphics and other day-to-day assets.
• Manage a high-volume publishing schedule across Somia’s accounts. Instagram is currently the primary platform, with TikTok and LinkedIn becoming part of Somia’s growing social presence.

Requirements

• Be genuinely comfortable selling while knowing how to build trust and recognize when selling is not appropriate.
• Have strong visual judgment, strong commercial instincts and the organization to ensure content, leads and follow-ups do not fall through the cracks.
• Be equally comfortable inside a design file and inside a sales conversation.
