Software Engineer

About the Role:This is a full-time software development position reporting to a hands-on technical lead. Infinite provides Fiserv with development services, and this team works on Fiserv’s Deposit Essentials platform. With this platform, consumers can open accounts online, anytime, and anywhere and gain access to new accounts and services. Developers work in focused agile teams with constant opportunities to participate in product, user experience, technical and architectural design. Developers are involved for the full software lifecycle from design, development and testing all the way through demonstration, training, and production go-live.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain web applications using Angular 18, .NET 8Design and optimize databases using SQL and entity frameworkCollaborate with the development team to implement new features and enhance existing onesContribute to the design and architecture of new technological solutionsImplement and adhere to software design patterns to create scalable and maintain code.Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and other generative AI solutions to accelerate software development, improve code quality, generate documentation, and support testing activities.
Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineer or related field.Written and spoken English, at least B1 or aboveGood communication skillsAt least 3 years of experience with Angular 18At least 3 years of experience with .NET (preferred 7 and above)Experience with entity frameworkExperience with SQL databases (Transact-SQL)Experience with Node.js developmentProficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript and TypescriptFamiliarity with RESTful architectures and API'sAbility to work in an Agile environmentExperience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.Familiarity with Generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, and responsible use of AI tools to support the software development lifecycleAbility to leverage AI solutions to improve coding efficiency, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and overall developer productivity.Experience identifying, analyzing, and remediating application security vulnerabilities, including static code analysis findings, following secure coding best practices.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with other front-end framework such as React.Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD
