ABOUT GOJAGOJA is a multi-brand e-commerce company selling consumer products across Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, and international marketplaces. Our technology team in Cochabamba builds and runs the platform behind all of it: the single source of truth for catalog, orders, inventory, advertising, and finance, and, on top of it, an AI layer that learns, predicts, recommends, and acts on live business data.
Most tech jobs in Bolivia are about QA or maintaining someone else's code. This is not one of them. We build frontier technology here, for a business that runs on it every day.We are looking for a Software Engineer who wants more than closing tickets. You will own production services end to end, ship the applications our operations teams open every morning, and help build an agentic platform that automates how the business runs.
THE ROLEAs a Software Engineer, you will join one of our AI & Product squads and own features from whiteboard to production. You will build Python services and APIs, develop the web interfaces our teams work in, integrate with marketplace and ERP systems, and wire LLM-based agents into live business workflows.You will work close to the business. The tools you ship are used every day by e-commerce, supply chain, and finance teams, and you will see the impact the same week you deploy.
WHAT YOU WILL BUILDProduction Python services and REST APIs that power internal applications and automations.Web front ends for internal tools in a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework.PostgreSQL data models, migrations, and the queries that keep them fast.Integrations with marketplace, advertising, and ERP APIs, including the auth, rate limits, and failure modes that come with them.Agentic AI features in production: tools, integrations, and orchestration around LLM-based agents.Automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes you continuously improve.Monitoring and troubleshooting for what you ship, you own it in production tooTechnical designs from business requirements, alongside the Product Lead, Squad Lead, and business analysts.Documentation of services, endpoints, and architectural decisions.Junior engineers who get better because you review their code and pair with them.Documentation of pipelines, data models, schemas, features, and model behavior.
WHAT YOU BRING▪ A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is welcome, but what you have shipped matters more to us.▪ Production ownership: 3+ years building and operating production applications, delivered end to end: requirements, design, deployment, monitoring, iteration.▪ Back end: Strong Python with a modern web framework (FastAPI, Django, or Flask), solid SQL and relational modeling on PostgreSQL, and REST APIs you have designed, consumed, and integrated with third-party services.▪ Front end: JavaScript/TypeScript and a component framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.▪ How you ship: Git-based workflows, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD as daily habits; cloud (AWS preferred) with containerized deployments; and the debugging and performance instinct to find the real cause in production.▪ Communication: Excellent written and spoken English.
