What you’ll do:Test Strategy & Quality Engineering• Design and execute QA strategies for medium‑ to large‑scale applications• Define test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices aligned with business and technical requirements• Apply risk‑based testing to prioritize validation efforts and improve defect detection• Embed quality early through shift‑left testing practicesTest Automation & Engineering Excellence• Develop and maintain automated test suites to increase regression coverage• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation• Leverage modern testing frameworks and tools to improve scalability• Build reusable tools and frameworks to enhance quality engineering efficiencyDefect Management & Root Cause Analysis• Execute tests, detect defects, and document bugs using standard tools• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) in collaboration with engineering teams• Validate fixes through regression testing before release• Contribute to defect prevention and continuous quality improvementCross‑Functional Collaboration & Delivery• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release readiness• Provide guidance on testability, quality risks, and scalability• Ensure smooth handoffs and timely communication
What we’re looking for:• Experience in software quality engineering (manual and automated testing)• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies• Experience testing web or enterprise applications• Familiarity with test management, defect tracking, and CI/CD tools
Nice to have:• Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)• API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and basic performance testing• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)• Knowledge of cloud environments and distributed systems testing
