Whats unique about this job (What you’ll do) Lead the definition and governance of enterprise solution architectures by connecting business strategy with technology capabilities to design solutions that are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the strategic priorities of the corporate areas, including Finance, People Organization, Legal, Construction, and Real Estate.
This role will be responsible for partnering with business stakeholders across these areas to understand complex business needs, define end-to-end solution strategies, establish architecture principles and standards, and guide technology decisions across applications, data, integrations, and emerging capabilities.
The Solutions Architect will act as a strategic bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value, reduce technology complexity and risks, and enable the continuous evolution of the enterprise technology ecosystem supporting the corporate areas.
Responsibilities
Act as the architecture focal point for business and technology stakeholders across the Corporate areas, including Finance, People Organization, Legal, Construction, and Real Estate, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technology solutions.Define and govern enterprise solution architectures across Corporate domains, establishing architecture principles, standards, integration patterns, and governance models that enable scalable and sustainable solutions.Formalize the organization’s document processing capabilities (capture, classification, and intelligent recognition) into a unified enterprise capability with defined ownership, roadmap, governance model, and expansion strategy.Establish the governance model required to scale document processing capabilities into new markets, including scope definition, ownership model, delivery approach, and alignment with business priorities.Define domain boundaries and integration contracts across core HR capabilities, including HR administration, time and attendance, and payroll platforms.Own the architecture of the finance-to-analytics data chain, including supplier data, procurement processes, financial systems, and reporting/analytics capabilities, ensuring clear data flows and documented integration patterns.Connect specialized integration initiatives, such as EDI, into the broader procure-to-pay architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise integration standards and technology principles.Evaluate and guide solution decisions across applications, data, integrations, and emerging capabilities, balancing business value, scalability, complexity, and long-term sustainability.Resolve ambiguity across related initiatives by clarifying ownership, architectural boundaries, dependencies, and responsibilities between delivery teams.Partner with enterprise architecture, delivery teams, and technology stakeholders to ensure solutions follow established architecture governance and support the continuous evolution of the corporate technology ecosystem
Bring your passion and expertise (Who you are)
Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect designing and governing enterprise solutions in complex business environments, preferably across Finance, People Organization, Legal, Construction, or Real Estate domains.Strong experience defining end-to-end solution architectures across applications, data, integrations, and technology ecosystems.Experience establishing architecture principles, governance models, standards, and decision frameworks to support enterprise technology evolution.Experience with enterprise business platforms, including HR/HCM, Finance, Procurement, and related operational systems.Experience with document intelligence capabilities, including OCR, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), document classification, and workflow automation.Knowledge of procure-to-pay integration architectures, including supplier data exchange, procurement processes, financial systems, and reporting/analytics platforms.Experience defining data architecture and governance models to enable trusted cross-system data flows and analytics capabilities.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence business and technology leaders across multiple areas.Nice to have: experience supporting regional expansion and rollout of enterprise systems across multiple countries.
Technical RequirementsHands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as Workday (HCM, Time & Attendance, Payroll) or equivalent HR platforms.Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), OCR technologies, and document classification engines.Knowledge of EDI standards and integration patterns (e.g., X12, EDIFACT) for supplier and procurement data exchange.Experience with API-based and middleware integration patterns (REST/SOAP, ESB, iPaaS) across enterprise applications.Experience with Financial Management Systems (FMS), planning, and analytics platforms (e.g., TM1 or equivalent).Strong SQL and data modeling skills to support cross-system data integration and analytics use cases.Familiarity with cloud architecture principles and platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) supporting enterprise solutions.Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and documentation tools (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate, or similar).Experience with AS400 and/or JD Edwards (JDE) environments is a plus.
