Sourcing Specialist

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs across multiple BPO accounts. This role focuses on proactive talent sourcing, pipeline development, market mapping, and candidate engagement to support high-volume recruitment goals. The Sourcing Specialist works closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Recruitment Leaders to ensure a continuous flow of qualified talent while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Sourcing & Candidate GenerationUtilize various sourcing channels including job boards, social media platforms, LinkedIn, referrals, databases, networking events, and community partnerships.Build and maintain active talent pipelines for customer service, technical support, sales, back-office, and leadership positions.Conduct market mapping and talent research to identify potential candidates.Develop innovative sourcing strategies to support high-volume hiring requirements.Generate a consistent flow of qualified applicants to meet hiring targets.
Candidate EngagementConduct initial outreach through phone calls, emails, messaging platforms, and social media.Pre-screen candidates to assess qualifications, communication skills, availability, and job fit.Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate handoffs with recruiters.Build relationships with passive candidates and maintain engagement for future opportunities.Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing process.
Recruitment MarketingPromote employer branding initiatives across sourcing channels.Create and post engaging job advertisements and recruitment campaigns.Support job fairs, virtual hiring events, and community outreach programs.Leverage social media platforms to increase candidate attraction and engagement.
Database Management & ReportingMaintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Track sourcing metrics including candidate conversion rates, sourcing channel effectiveness, and pipeline health.Generate recruitment reports and provide insights to improve sourcing strategies.Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company recruitment policies.
Stakeholder CollaborationPartner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand hiring requirements.Participate in workforce planning discussions and recruitment strategy sessions.Provide market intelligence on talent availability, salary trends, and competitor hiring activities.
QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Experience1-3 years of experience in recruitment sourcing, talent acquisition, or high-volume recruitment.Experience within a BPO, contact center, shared services, or outsourcing environment is highly preferred.Experience sourcing for customer service, sales, technical support, and back-office roles.
Technical SkillsExperience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and social media recruiting.Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Knowledge of recruitment metrics and sourcing analytics.
