SOX internal control Supervisor

About the role

Lear Corporation is offering an opportunity to work as a SOX Internal Control Supervisor in HQ, Juarez, Chih., Mex., servicing facilities in Mexico in an international and growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate SOX and internal control guidelines to operations and finance teams.
• Improve current systems to maintain an effective internal control environment in assigned operations.
• Monitor compliance with SOX controls to prevent significant adjustments for operational and financial risks and achieve satisfactory audits.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, USGAAP, MEXGAAP, LEAP and C-TPAT regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of experience as an internal auditor in an audit firm.
• Extensive knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley regulations, finance and accounting processes under US and MEX GAAP in the automotive industry, and internal control.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Microsoft Office management, with intermediate Excel skills.
• Availability to travel domestically and internationally up to 75%.
