Role Description This full-time remote role is for a Spanish to English Medical Interpreter, with free training provided. The interpreter will facilitate clear and accurate communication between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare professionals in a variety of medical settings. Day-to-day tasks include performing real-time medical interpretation, ensuring meaning and tone are preserved, and clarifying medical terminology when needed while maintaining professional boundaries. The role also involves accurate note-taking, following established protocols, protecting confidential patient information, and using company platforms and tools to manage assignments and documentation. The interpreter will participate in ongoing training, maintain high ethical standards, and support a positive experience for all parties in each interaction. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Medical Interpretation and Interpreting skills for Spanish >> English communication in clinical and non-clinical settings.Candidates should possess solid Translation abilities for written medical materials when required.Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology in both Spanish and English to support accurate and safe communication.Candidates should possess Simultaneous Interpretation skills to handle real-time conversations efficiently and professionally.High proficiency in spoken and written Spanish and English, with clear pronunciation and active listening skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical standards, and follow HIPAA or similar privacy regulations.Comfort with remote work using cloud-based systems, stable internet connection, and basic technical skills.Prior experience in medical or healthcare settings is beneficial; relevant certifications or interpreter training are a plus (training also provided by the company).Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to remain calm and neutral in emotionally charged situations.
