Role Description This full-time remote role focuses on Spanish to English interpreting in a virtual call center environment. The interpreter will provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation for a variety of scenarios, including medical, legal, and general business calls. Day-to-day tasks include listening to Spanish speakers, conveying messages clearly and faithfully in English, and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. The role may involve both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, as well as occasional text-based translation and language support. The interpreter will collaborate with call center staff, follow client-specific protocols, and participate in training to maintain high quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Interpreting and Language Services for Spanish to English communication.Candidates should possess experience in Medical Interpretation and related healthcare communication contexts.Candidates should possess capabilities in Simultaneous Interpretation for fast-paced or high-volume calls.Candidates should possess proficiency in Translation for occasional written Spanish to English materials.Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent listening and speaking skills.Prior experience in remote or call center-based interpreting is highly beneficial.Strong ethical standards, including confidentiality, impartiality, and accuracy in all interactions.Reliable internet connection, suitable equipment for remote work, and ability to work scheduled full-time shifts.Relevant certification or training in interpreting or translation is a plus.
