Spare Parts Warehouse Specialist

About the role

BYD Chile is seeking a specialist to support local spare parts warehouse management and last-mile logistics coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chinese team in establishing the local spare parts warehouse management system and formulating procedures for inbound and outbound operations and inventory counting.
• Manage daily warehouse operations, including parts receiving and inspection, storage location planning, picking and verification, and in-warehouse maintenance.
• Organize regular inventory counts, investigate book-to-physical discrepancies, and align records with actual stock.
• Manage warehouse operational costs and enforce warehouse safety standards.
• Compile warehouse business data regularly and report it to the Chinese team.
• Monitor spare parts last-mile logistics, record material loading, in-transit status, and ETA, and share updates with the Chinese team and relevant business stakeholders.
• Collect last-mile logistics documents, assist with payment applications for related expenses, and provide regular feedback on logistics operational data.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of warehouse management experience; at least 1 year in automotive spare parts warehouse management is preferred.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP, and warehouse team management capabilities.
