Eric Rahman is seeking five dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in Tacoma, Washington. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule with competitive hourly rates, perfect for educators passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special needs. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Regularly monitor and assess student progress to ensure educational goals are achieved. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of special education laws and regulations to support students and families effectively. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and behavioral growth. Communicate clearly with parents, guardians, and educational professionals regarding student progress and challenges. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning styles. Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate supportive initiatives across the curriculum. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid Washington State Special Education Teacher certification (M/M or M/S). Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations. Proven ability to create effective individualized education plans (IEPs). Excellent classroom management skills.
