Synco Staff X is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher in Philadelphia, PA. This full-time role focuses on delivering personalized educational experiences to students with diverse learning needs in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and tools to engage students and enhance learning outcomes. Assess and monitor student progress, adapting instruction and interventions as necessary. Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters participation and effective behavior management. Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and stakeholders to discuss progress and collaborate on support strategies. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists and specialists to support students’ holistic development. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field. Strong skills in patience, communication, problem-solving, assessment, and behavior management. Preferred: Relevant special education certifications. Familiarity with special education laws and regulations. 1-3 years of experience in a special education setting preferred. The Special Education Teacher will report directly to the school principal and work closely with a passionate team of educators committed to student success.
