About The TeamThe SBO Global Ops & Transformation team designs, scales, and continuously enhances the Store Back Office operating model across North America and international markets. The team focuses on operational excellence, process transformation, automation, data-driven decision making, and AI adoption to simplify operations, improve supplier experience, strengthen controls, and increase productivity. Collaborating closely with Business, Product, and Technology teams, the group builds a scalable global platform that supports market expansion, standardization, and long-term value creation. About The RoleAs a Specialist, Store Back Office Operations, you will leverage data analysis to monitor inventory performance, identify trends and root causes of inventory discrepancies, and support initiatives aimed at reducing administrative shrink across LATAM markets. This position combines inventory expertise with analytical capabilities to transform data into actionable insights that improve operational controls and business performance.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with experience in inventory processes, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires the ability to analyze large data sets, investigate inventory variances, identify root causes, and provide recommendations that drive business impact.

What you'll doAnalyze data to identify trends, risks, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Monitor key performance indicators related to inventory accuracy, administrative shrink, adjustments, and inventory variances. Develop recurring reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to support decision making. Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to recommend corrective actions. Partner with cross-functional teams including Genpact, Operations, Finance, Asset Protection, and Technology to drive process improvements. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management and operational excellence. Identify opportunities to automate reporting and enhance monitoring capabilities through data and technology solutions. Perform data validation activities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of inventory-related reporting. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
What you'll bringStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform data into actionable business insights. Knowledge of inventory management processes, inventory controls, reconciliations, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy methodologies. Experience analyzing data sets and identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities. Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple teams and functions. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for operational excellence. Experience utilizing data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Leverage emerging technologies like GenAI to optimize day to day activities.Experience working with SQL, BigQuery, or other analytical tools is preferred. English proficiency is considered a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.2+ years of experience in inventory management, inventory analytics, retail operations, finance, supply chain, or a related analytical function.Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.Experience analyzing data and generating business recommendations.Ability to work with moderate supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail, inventory operations, loss prevention, asset protection, or store operations.Knowledge of administrative shrink, inventory controls, and inventory accuracy programs.Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, BigQuery, or other business intelligence tools.Experience supporting operational improvement or process transformation initiatives.Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.Experience working in a regional or multinational environment supporting multiple markets.
