In your position you will perform pre-match and live trading.Your drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.
What you’ll doYou’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:Compiling odds for a variety of desk specific marketsMonitoring real-time sports events/resultsBuilding on existing knowledge of industry’s policies, systems and proceduresPerforming analysis of market trends and observing competitorsPerforming customer analysis and monitoring bet limitsPerforming pre-match and live sports tradingManaging database and sportsbook related escalationsUpdating databases that will assist with trading/compilationCovering trading responsibilities on other Trading desks as required.

What you’ll bringYou’re someone who brings:Demonstrable passion for sports (especially US sports)Experience in pre-match and live trading (especially of US sports)Experience with various sports trading systems/toolsExperience with risk management and betting patternsFamiliarity with the industry market trendsKnowledge on the industry’s key policies, systems and proceduresFlexibility to work on shift patterns that include weekends and bank holidays, and may also include early, evening and night working hoursClear, confident communication in both English and Spanish (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideasA collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross‑functional teams to hit shared goalsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ballExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality workAdaptability – you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast‑moving environments.
Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeveIt would be great if you also have some the following skills:In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trendsPrevious experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulationsFamiliarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standardsExperience in developing and executing customer retention strategiesAbility to adapt to new structures, processes and proceduresAbility to build and maintain strong working relationship across the businessAbility to understand the operational aspect of the businessAbility to understand market trends and learning opportunitiesAbility to show accountability for own work and resultsAbility to achieve competent level of analytical and technical knowledge.
