About the role
LUMA Energy provides QAQC oversight for federally funded reimbursement activities, helping minimize compliance risks and maximize reimbursement success while supporting continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Review reimbursement packages before submission for compliance with FEMA Public Assistance, DOE, and other applicable federal grant requirements.
- Review procurement documentation, contracts, invoices, labor records, force account documentation, equipment records, and supporting documents to validate eligibility and compliance.
- Verify costs against approved Project Worksheets (PWs), grant agreements, federal regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify documentation deficiencies, compliance risks, and eligibility issues, and coordinate corrective actions with reimbursement preparers and project stakeholders.
- Evaluate Requests for Information (RFIs) and assist with preparing accurate responses to federal and recipient agencies.
- Interpret FEMA policies, Public Assistance guidance, applicable sections of 2 CFR Part 200, and other federal grant requirements as they relate to reimbursement eligibility.
- Monitor reimbursement quality metrics and identify opportunities to improve documentation standards, review processes, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal to resolve reimbursement issues.
- Maintain detailed review documentation and ensure QAQC activities are documented.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and standards to comply with applicable laws and industry regulations.
- Participate in storm restoration activities.
