Sr. Planner

About the role

Eaton’s IS AER ITD division is seeking a Sr. Planner. The role supports the Customer Service Team and Supply Chain Team by analyzing forecast and firm client orders to help provide an optimal level of service and customer satisfaction.

Souriau-Sunbank Connection Technologies designs, manufactures and markets high-performance, high-reliability interconnect solutions for the aviation, defense, space, energy and transportation markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily backlog of customer shipments, schedule deliveries, and provide the Customer Service Team with information on past dues, missing components, recovery dates and tracking.
• Use MFGpro and support the Supply Chain Team.
• Expedite delayed purchases or purchases affected by changes in the production plan.
• Obtain and evaluate information to handle inquiries and complaints, and resolve customer complaints.
• Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource.
• Follow up and keep records of information provided to the Customer Service Team and Supply Chain Team.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Supply Chain.
• Understanding of MRP, Supply Chain processes and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Experience related to customer service, planning and/or manufacturing.
• Advanced-level MS Office Excel skills.
• MFG PRO knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical and inventory management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to gather, summarize and interpret information.
