About the role
Pistongroup is seeking a Sr Planner to develop and maintain raw material planning based on demand, production schedules, MRP requirements, and inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer releases, forecasts, production requirements, and demand changes to determine raw material needs.
- Ensure timely availability of raw material to support production and prevent line stoppages.
- Monitor and control raw material inventory levels, including safety stock, excess inventory, and obsolete materials.
- Order requirements according to MRP signals, lead times, minimum order quantities, and short shipments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced English.
- Production planning and scheduling experience, including work with ERP.
- Ability to analyze demand forecasts and production capacity.
- Knowledge of Excel or similar tools.
- Minimum 5 years in the materials department.
