Sr. Project Manager RD Electrophysiology

SummaryThe primary responsibility of this position is to manage electrophysiology catheter project(s) and project activities according to project schedule. You will work closely with cross functional team to drive team to complete project on time and on budget.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and direct project and project activities needed to achieve project objectives.Work closely with project team to complete project according to project schedule.Establish strong ownership of the project and project activities, driving successful results through leadership.Provide a breadth of project and technical expertise as needed to ensure project execution.Effectively communicate complex information with varying levels of collaborators, including customers and stakeholders.Lead early development project activities for quoting in support of securing new projects for the business.Lead new projects from initiation to hand-off to operations.Provide a strong understanding of project needs, risks, and timing necessary to meet competing project schedules.Complies with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per Heraeus Medical Components. Quality System.Other duties may be assigned as required.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or related technical field required.A minimum of 8 years engineering experience required including previous experience as project manager in the medical device industry.Strong experience in use of project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, or others).Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.Proficient at solving problems in a timely manner.Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% or as needed, mainly between Minnesota, USA and Costa Rica.Valid Passport and Visa.
Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 10 years engineering experience required including previous experience as project manager in the medical device industry.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.Previous experience with medical catheter experience preferred.Proficient verbal and written communication in English desired.
