AlertMedia is looking for a Sr Software Engineer with strong AI development tool experience to help accelerate an AI-first development model. This hands-on engineering role focuses on expanding what agents, skills, and automation can own across engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Design and extend agents, skills, and automation that take on engineering work, from planning and implementation through code review and CI.
• Include testing in the work taken on by agents and automation.
• Reduce friction from slow local environments, long feedback loops, and manual steps.
• Work across teams and partner directly with engineers to improve how they work with agents and roll out changes that stick.

Requirements

• Be a software engineer who enjoys writing code and improving systems.
• Actively use AI tools in daily development work and look for ways to push them further.
• Keep up with new AI capabilities and assess which ones are worth adopting.
• Care about how other engineers work and want to make their jobs easier.
