Sr. Workday Engineer

About the role

GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. is seeking a Workday Engineer for a full-time role. The work involves Workday HCM functionality, integrations, process analysis, documentation, testing, and migration support.

Responsibilities

• Work with Workday HCM functionalities, including EIB, Organizations, Navigations, Security, and Custom Reports.
• Build integrations using EIB (Inbound & Outbound), Workday Studio, Core Connectors (Worker and Benefits), and XSLT.
• Understand Workday objects and identify relationships between PBO and RBO, including the use of Calculated Fields.
• Analyze AS-IS and TO-BE processes based on business requirements, and prepare documentation and test cases.
• Interact with business users and cross-functional application teams.
• Support the migration of Workday integrations.
• Assist the Team Lead/Project Manager by compiling information from current systems, analyzing program requirements, and ensuring deliverables meet specified timelines.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Workday HCM and a good understanding of Workday concepts.
• Experience with at least one end-to-end Workday HCM implementation.
• Hands-on experience with integrations, calculated fields, security, and migrations.
• Understanding of EIB, Core Connector Worker, Core Connector Benefits, Workday Studio, Navigations, Search, Security, Reports, and related Workday functionalities.
• Good coding, testing, implementation, debugging, and documentation skills.
• Understanding and hands-on experience with XSLT.
• Understanding and hands-on experience with ISU, ISSG, integration scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively, reason through problems, and quickly understand complex operating environments.
• Ability to work in a diverse, multinational, and multi-vendor environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
