Join SJ ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS as an STP & ETP Operator in Barbil, Odisha, India. This full-time role is essential for operating and maintaining sewage treatment plants (STP) and effluent treatment plants (ETP), ensuring environmental safety and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor sewage and effluent treatment plants daily to maintain optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting plant operations promptly. Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure all equipment functions efficiently. Document operational data and report any deviations from standard procedures. Ensure strict compliance with local and national Pollution Control Board (PCB) regulations related to water treatment. Collaborate with team members to improve treatment processes and operational efficiency. Assist in training new operators on safety protocols and operational procedures. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent educational qualification. Basic knowledge of water treatment processes and plant operations. Experience in troubleshooting technical problems related to treatment plants. Understanding of PCB regulations and environmental compliance standards. Previous experience in a similar STP/ETP operator role is preferred but not mandatory. The STP & ETP Operator will work closely with plant managers, senior operators, and maintenance staff within a structured team environment. Collaboration across departments is essential to address technical challenges and implement improvements that enhance overall water treatment efficiency.
