Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Saltillo, COA for a Supervisor sistema contra incendio (Fire Protection System Supervisor). The role is responsible for supervising the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire protection systems in industrial facilities, ensuring compliance with safety codes and applicable regulations. Daily activities include coordinating work teams, reviewing technical plans, monitoring progress on-site, and verifying that materials and equipment meet project specifications. The supervisor will prepare reports, maintain documentation of tests and inspections, and communicate with project managers, clients, and contractors regarding timelines, risks, and corrective actions. The role also involves promoting safe work practices, leading incident prevention efforts, and supporting continuous improvement of fire protection procedures.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience supervising installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire protection systems (e.g., sprinklers, detection systems, pumps, extinguishers).Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, industrial safety standards, and relevant local and national regulations.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and project plans related to fire protection systems.Proven skills in coordinating field teams, assigning tasks, and monitoring on-site work to meet quality and safety requirements.Experience performing and documenting functional tests, inspections, and preventive maintenance for fire protection equipment.Effective communication skills to interact with project managers, clients, and contractors, and to prepare clear technical reports.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail when identifying risks, proposing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance.Knowledge of basic project management practices, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.Commitment to occupational health and safety, with the ability to promote safe work procedures and lead safety briefings on-site.Technical degree or professional training in engineering, industrial safety, or a related field; additional certifications in fire protection systems are an advantage.Previous experience in industrial environments is preferred, especially in construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.Ability to work on-site full
