Magma Automotive for START UP Plant at Santiago de Querétaro is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager.

This position is onsite.

Funciones

• Develop and manage material, inventory, delivery, and capacity plans to meet production schedules and OTD targets.
• Lead Planning, Inventory, Purchasing, and Logistics activities to ensure material availability.
• Manage the SCM team, including training, performance evaluation, development, motivation, and recognition.
• Monitor Planning and Inventory metrics and establish departmental goals.
• Ensure the SIOP process is followed according to established procedures.
• Manage inventory levels, including excess and obsolete inventory, to meet financial targets.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters and ensure revenue and inventory projections are achieved.
• Serve as the main SCM contact for customers and manage supply chain-related issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Production, Sales, EHS, HR, Facilities, and other departments.
• Manage purchasing contracts, annual physical inventory, surplus sales, scrap disposal, and logistics solutions.

Requisitos

• 5+ years of leadership experience in high-complexity manufacturing environments.
• 5+Years as a minimum in a Manager SCM/Warehouse/Logistics within Manufacturing Company.
• Proven track record in the automotive or vehicle assembly sector.
• Direct experience managing startup or greenfield projects (highly preferred).
• Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and automated assembly processes.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; strong understanding of the Mexican labor market and Bajío region regulations.
