Sustaining Engineer I

Job Purpose:
Coordinate and control new product development from design frozen to mass production kick off, redesigning and modifying existing products based on customer requirement to ensure improvements in manufacturability, quality and reliability
Responsibilities:Continue improvement and technical support to all sustaining products which include component/product verification, validation and release for production.Follow up the design change projects, repeat molds and components qualification included plastic, metal or purchased parts within specified timeline.Conduct root cause analysis for trouble shooting on all production issues.Cooperate with and implement company lean production requirements and policies.Responsible for maintenance of CAF, BOM, ECR and ECON.

Requirements:Bachelor in Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering or related.Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience in sustaining engineering activities including component/product verification, validation and release for production.Bilingual English/Spanish.Creative and Continuous Improvement.
