Job DescriptionWe’re looking for an IT SysAdmin to help us oversee the administration of the server infrastructure, applying best practices and migration designs. You will monitor and analyze the capabilities and performance of the server environment. You will have to compare, evaluate, and implement new technologies, and integrate systems into the computing environment. You will be providing technical assistance on Windows, on-premises, or cloud-based systems, and resolving operational problems.
In this role, you will be part of the ServiceDesk team. ServiceDesk takes care of monitoring, proactive actions, and best practices, maintaining health status from a client-wide perspective. The sysadmin’s primary focus is on aligning customer servers’ infrastructure into the best possible scenarios, following standards and recommendations.

You will be responsible for: Perform regular on-site or remote Technology Business Reviews with Customers.Critical Data identification and data backupsBusiness continuity initiativesData loss scenario simulation and preventionManage and monitor server configurations.Implement server configurations.Monitoring patches, permissions, and service deploymentsCreating policies for on-premises Active Directory or Azure AD environments.Monitoring network performance and on-prem/cloud resources.Integrating cloud systems into current environments.Evaluating and implementing new technologiesSetting on-premises or cloud system security strategies, policies, and proceduresDocumenting systems infrastructureResolving operational and security issuesImplementing, managing, and monitoring backup plans.Implementing, managing, and monitoring disaster recovery plans.
RequirementsYou possess strong problem-solving skills.You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Good task management and multitasking skills.Advanced English Skills.Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in similar roles.At least 3+ years of work experience delivering technical infrastructure designs & implementation of solutions to customers.Mobility: This role is a combination of working from home with 2-3 days a week at the Santo Domingo office or with customers on-site.
