Role Description The Técnico en Párvulo is a full-time, on-site role based in Las Condes, supporting the daily educational and care activities of children in Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten. This role includes assisting lead educators in implementing the Finnish curriculum, preparing classrooms and materials, and facilitating bilingual learning experiences in English and Spanish. The Técnico en Párvulo will supervise children during play, meals, and rest times, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive social interactions. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and organized learning environment, supporting documentation of children’s progress, and communicating effectively with families and colleagues. The role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to create a warm, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere for every child.
Qualifications
Formal training and certification as Técnico en Párvulo or equivalent early childhood education qualification.Experience working with Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten-age children in daycare, preschool, or school settings.Ability to support bilingual learning (Spanish and English) and willingness to use both languages in daily interactions.Strong child supervision skills, with a focus on safety, emotional wellbeing, and positive behavior guidance.Organizational skills for classroom preparation, materials management, and maintenance of a clean, orderly environment.Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators, staff, and families.Knowledge or interest in the Finnish Primary Educational Curriculum and play-based, child-centered approaches.Flexibility, reliability, and a caring attitude, with a genuine commitment to early childhood development.
