About the role
The Client Accounting Specialist serves as the primary financial liaison for Tax Law Solutions prospective clients. The role includes reviewing and preparing client-facing financial reports and providing end-to-end procurement accounting services for assigned U.S.-based clients. The specialist advises clients on engagement budgets and manages financial health while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting operations using Tax Law Solutions services.
The role oversees the full procurement cycle, including the three-way match and vendor payment processing. It also involves maintaining organized financial records, supporting month-end closing activities, preparing and distributing financial reporting packages, performing reconciliations, and monitoring each client division’s financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal financial liaison for clients, responding to billing and financial documentation inquiries clearly and professionally.
- Manage assigned client relationships from a financial perspective.
- Understand assigned clients’ businesses in the U.S. and P.R. and maintain regular direct contact to stay informed about operational changes and needs.
- Lead quarterly financial review meetings with clients and procurement teams.
- Oversee the full procurement cycle, including the three-way match and vendor payment processing.
- Maintain continuous communication with each client’s designated point of contact to obtain required documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain complete, organized financial records and support month-end closing activities.
- Assist with preparing and distributing financial reporting packages for discussion with Tax Law Solutions clients.
- Perform reconciliations and contribute to the full accounting cycle and ongoing monitoring of client division financial performance.
