📃 Role SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in tax management, with a focus on US and international taxation. This role involves overseeing tax planning and compliance, ensuring the company adheres to all regulations, and providing strategic tax advice to optimize financial performance.
✅ Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all tax-related activities, including preparation, compliance, and planning.Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.Lead the preparation and review of tax returns and ensure accurate, timely filing.Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filing.Identify opportunities for process improvement in tax procedures.Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure alignment on tax strategies.
🎓 RequirementsProven experience as a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Associate with managerial responsibilities.Strong understanding of US tax regulations and international tax laws.CPA certification preferred for US candidates; Enrolled Agent for international candidates.Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel.Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work in Mountain Time zone, with flexible working hours.
🌟 Nice to HavesExperience with ProConnect or similar tax software.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a team.Experience in a remote working environment with occasional in-person meetings.Willingness to travel for in-person meetings if required.
