This full-time role requires an experienced tax professional with a strong background in individual tax return preparation within a public accounting firm environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare individual tax returns for clients with 5+ years of experience in public accounting. Supervise and mentor an entry-level team of tax preparers to ensure quality and accuracy. Review previous tax returns and gather new client data to prepare current year filings. Provide expert advice on future tax planning and communicate upcoming tax requirements to clients. Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with clients and internal staff. Effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Utilize UltraTax and QuickBooks software (preferred). Qualifications: Proficient in tax preparation and knowledgeable of current tax laws. Experience analyzing and drafting financial statements. Strong understanding of general tax and finance principles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Outstanding client management and communication abilities. Ability to work onsite in Brentwood, TN. CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
