The Role:We’re seeking a Team Lead II. This role is designed for an experienced people leader who excels at managing teams, building strong client relationships, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll play a key role in overseeing team performance, supporting client operations, coaching and developing employees, ensuring KPI achievement, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to continuously improve processes and service delivery.
Location: Must be in Colombia – Remote.Environment: Colombian and International Teams.Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).Timezone: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.Salary: $4,000,000 COPContract: Non-fixed Term Colombian Contract.
Responsibilities:Coordinate and supervise daily/weekly/monthly activities of team membersUnderstand the business, priorities, and agenda of clients to manage the day-to-day operationsMonitor performance metrics and ensure delivery of targets/goalsCoordinate work activities with the operations managerIdentify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise, and judgmentComply with the reporting requirements of each team handledProvide coaching, feedback, and annual performance reviewsConduct training needs analysis in collaborating with the operations managerParticipate in creating training programs and developmental opportunities for direct reportsMonitor and impose compliance with company policies and proceduresFacilitate formal corrective action in collaboration with HRComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies, and procedures, and all directives (such as but not limited to, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies regarding flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment)
Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree.Experience: At least 3 years of people management experience and 2+ years in client-facing roles.Skills: Strong knowledge of KPIs, project management principles, data analysis and reporting, coaching, process improvement, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems and platforms. Experience with technical teams (IT Help Desk, QA, Software Development) and Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.Characteristics: Strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, analytical mindset, high integrity, problem-solving abilities, client-focused, adaptable, and collaborative.
