About the role
Outsourcing Services International | OSI is seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated professional with experience in processing and/or data-intensive work. Provisioning or technical support experience in the telecommunications industry is ideal. The role supports the setup and maintenance of phone systems, internet connectivity, and other telecom infrastructure for call center/outsourcing operations, working closely with senior team members.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers, vendors, and internal resources to monitor phone number orders and project management.
- Enter data to record supplies, jobs, and time spent in the VoIP field.
- Work with technical personnel to ensure trouble tickets are addressed quickly.
- Track provisioning dates and update system notes and workflows daily.
- Coordinate, monitor, and assist with local number porting requests and projects.
- Maintain tracking records and provide updates as requested.
- Escalate issues with internal teams and vendors to meet project demands.
- Process number port-outs and act as the customer’s single point of contact for service requests.
- Coordinate support groups to ensure maximum utilization of billable resources.
- Monitor resource schedules to support prompt time entry on service requests.
Requirements
- College studies are preferred.
- Experience in provisioning or telecommunications (VoIP), or in technical support roles, is ideal.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, as well as Word and Outlook.
- English proficiency above 85%, written and spoken.
- Technical awareness, including the ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
