Technical Sales Support Professional

MAIN PURPOSEProvide support to the ATCs of the Professional Channel, Distribution, and Geosynthetics in Guatemala in the preparation of quotations (based on the information and drawings submitted by customers), which constitute the preliminary step in the negotiation of projects.RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare quotations in Excel and/or SAP based on material lists, technical specifications, drawings, and requirements provided by customers and/or ATCs.Support the preparation of project quotations through the interpretation of drawings and the quantification of materials from technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established timelines.Manage and maintain the quotation database up to date, ensuring proper recordkeeping, version control, traceability, and follow-up of proposals submitted for the Projects, Distribution, and Geosynthetics channels.Follow up on prepared quotations in coordination with ATCs, identifying status updates, changes, opportunities, and pending requirements to ensure timely progress in the commercial process.Identify and communicate needs for products or solutions not currently included in the portfolio, based on recurring customer requirements and requests.Provide support in administrative and operational activities within the commercial area, including account creation, material reservations, follow-up activities, and other requirements related to project management and business opportunities.Coordinate and gather information from the involved departments to complete and validate the data required for the preparation of quotations and the fulfillment of commercial requests.REQUIREMENTSMinimum:Final-year student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Knowledge and SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Knowledge of SAP (preferred).Understanding of construction technical specifications.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.Advanced Excel skills.Experience in database management, recordkeeping, and version control.Basic knowledge of commercial and administrative processes.
