PERMIT TECHNICIAN (Deerfield Beach)

We are seeking a computer-savvy, organized individual who is proficient with the Permit Process and a team player—knowledge of permit processing and procedures is a must. Your duties will include submitting permit packages, monitoring permit review progress, engineering, HOAs, and providing customer service. This is a full-time position for a permitting technician and compliance, with pay based on experience. A positive attitude and customer service skills are required. Job Duties: Window & Door Permitting Scheduling Inspections Answer permitting phones Monitor emails and respond as needed Process permits Manage CRM updates [JobProgress/Leap] License record keeping (city/bldg departments) Obtain HOA approvals Support day-to-day office duties relating to permitting, inspection, and engineering. Job Requirements: Knowledge of permitting processes Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite Word/Excel/PowerPoint Must have a construction industry experience Knowledge in window/door product approvals/NOA's Knowledge of window and door service is a plus Must have strong attention to details Must have a valid Florida Driver's License Must have dependable transportation Spanish is a plus but not required.
