About the role
SJS Title is seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Title Insurance Processor to join its team. This is a full-time position in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Review title commitments and identify defects, liens, judgments, and easements.
- Prepare settlement statements, CDs, and ALTA Settlement Statements.
- Coordinate closing dates with buyers, sellers, lenders, Realtors®, and notaries.
- Work with attorneys, realtors, other title companies, and lenders to resolve title issues before closing.
- Be familiar with recording fees, transfer taxes, and closing costs for NJ and PA.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of title processing experience preferred.
- Experience processing NJ and/or PA transactions strongly preferred.
- Ability to read title commitments and resolve title issues.
- Experience preparing Closing Disclosures and settlement statements.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
