About the role

Southbridge Access is seeking a Tour Conductor in Buenos Aires to deliver academic and cultural experiences for university students and faculty. The role involves executing pre-designed itineraries that support educational and professional value through logistics, contextual expertise, and on-the-ground support.

Responsibilities

• Guide students and faculty through the established itinerary, highlighting cultural, historical, and business themes aligned with academic objectives.
• Maintain an attentive presence to support group safety, cohesion, and well-being. Address concerns, anticipate needs, and foster an inclusive, respectful group dynamic.
• Prepare before the group’s arrival by checking routes, coordinating with local partners, and reviewing the itinerary.
• Monitor program flow and suggest or make real-time adjustments to enhance the participant experience while preserving academic and logistical goals.
• Work with the Program Management and Operations teams before and during the program, respecting team roles and maintaining open communication.
• Represent the program as a cultural bridge, logistical expert, and professional liaison between students, faculty, and local communities.

Requirements

• Fluency in English; fluency in local languages is a strong plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Buenos Aires and its business, cultural, and historical context.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading educational or corporate travel programs.
• Background working with international students or professionals preferred.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to take direction.
