About the role
At Capgemini Engineering, engineers, scientists, and architects support innovative companies through research and development and engineering services across industries. In Colombia, this role supports telecommunications providers in maintaining network operations and service continuity.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor network and service platforms, detect, classify, and manage alarms and events, and correlate alerts to assess their impact on customers and internal infrastructure.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting using established operational procedures. Manage incidents from initial diagnosis through escalation, resolution, and validation of service restoration.
- Support scheduled maintenance windows, operational changes, and post-change health checks in compliance with operational standards, security requirements, and governance processes.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders about incidents, service degradations, and restoration activities. Maintain detailed shift logs and participate in operational handovers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities.
