You will be responsible for operating and maintaining your truck to ensure safe, timely transportation of goods. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain your truck to meet safety and performance standards. Transport goods and materials to assigned locations promptly. Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness. Complete all required delivery documentation accurately. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers about delivery schedules. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo to prevent damage. Required and Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in truck operation and maintenance. Valid driver’s license suitable for the truck type. Ability to complete vehicle inspection reports proficiently. Previous experience as a truck owner or subcontractor preferred. This role requires collaboration with dispatchers and logistics teams to ensure efficient transport operations. You will report directly to the operations manager and work closely with customer service to meet delivery deadlines and maintain high satisfaction.
