About the role
Yutong Bus & Coach is seeking a mechanic to maintain and repair Yutong electric and hybrid buses. The role focuses on ensuring vehicles meet Norwegian safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and repairs on Yutong pure electric and hybrid buses, inspecting the battery, motor, electronic control system, chassis, electrical equipment, and other components.
- Follow Yutong technical specifications and local safety and environmental requirements in Norway.
- Troubleshoot vehicle faults using repair requests and diagnostic tool data, and complete repairs to applicable standards.
- Follow high-voltage electrical procedures, use protective measures for battery repairs, and dispose of waste according to classification.
- Complete repair records after tasks to maintain transparent, traceable data.
- Assist with repair quality audits, share detailed repair information, participate in technical meetings, and provide feedback to improve the fault code database and training materials.
- Collaborate with technical trainers in skill enhancement programs and learn about technical updates.
