Role Description The Vendedor de Pisos y Revestimientos en Tienda is a full-time, on-site role located in Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic. This position is responsible for welcoming customers to the showroom, understanding their project needs, and providing informed recommendations on flooring and wall covering products. Day-to-day tasks include presenting product features and benefits, preparing quotes, processing sales, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role also involves maintaining product displays, coordinating with the inventory and logistics team, and following up with customers to support a positive buying experience. The team member will work closely with colleagues to meet sales targets, uphold store standards, and represent UDO’s brand and service values.
Qualifications
Sales and customer service skills, including experience in retail or showroom environments and the ability to build long-term client relationships.Knowledge of construction finishing materials, especially flooring and wall coverings, and a strong interest in architecture, interior design, or related fields.Communication skills in Spanish (verbal and written), with the ability to explain technical product details in clear, accessible language.Basic numeracy and computer skills for preparing quotations, processing transactions, and using point-of-sale and inventory systems.Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple customers, maintain showroom order, and meet sales objectives.High level of integrity, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward learning product lines and market trends.Prior experience in sales of construction, hardware, or home improvement products is an advantage.Availability to work full-time on-site, including weekends and extended hours
