Welder/Fabricator Job in Syracuse, NY – Full-Time Position

Join Kevin Bauter’s metal fabrication team in Syracuse, New York as a Welder/Fabricator. This full-time role offers a dynamic work environment focused on precision metalwork and quality craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Perform welding and fabrication on metal components per blueprints and specifications. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. Work closely with the owner and shop foreman to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing designs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following safety protocols. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes and reduce waste. Assist in training and mentoring junior welders and fabricators as needed. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of welding and metal fabrication experience preferred. Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Competent in using a tape measure accurately. Welding certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship. Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
