This role focuses on ensuring the optimal presentation, availability, and rotation of merchandise across assigned zones within the store. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing product displays, maintaining visual merchandising standards, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with store teams to execute seasonal and promotional layouts. The Zone Merch team member reviews sales data and customer feedback to adjust product placement, improve the shopping experience, and support commercial performance. The role also involves collaborating with store leadership to implement brand guidelines, uphold safety and cleanliness standards, and contribute to a customer-centric environment that reflects Decathlon’s passion for sports.Qualifications Strong merchandising and retail operations skills, including product presentation, inventory awareness, and in-store layout optimization.Customer service and communication skills to engage shoppers, understand needs, and work effectively with cross-functional store teams.Basic data and analytics skills to interpret sales trends, track product performance, and support merchandising decisions.Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple zones, priorities, and deadlines in a dynamic store environment.Interest in sports and active lifestyles, with the ability to learn product features and advise customers with confidence.Comfort with physical tasks such as lifting, stocking, and moving merchandise, while following safety procedures.Previous experience in retail, visual merchandising, or store operations is beneficial.High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail, business, or related fields is a plus.
