At Oktana, we are seeking a proactive and highly organized Zuora Billing & Revenue Solutions Architect with hands-on experience implementing and supporting the Zuora platform. This role requires strong expertise in Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue (RevPro), and subscription billing processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure, optimize, and maintain Zuora environments while supporting financial systems, governance, and release management.
Must - have skills4+ years of deep hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue in live production environments.Strong expertise in Zuora architecture, solution design, and optimizing existing implementations.Solid practical understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and real-world revenue recognition processes.Strong experience with APIs, middleware integrations, and data flow troubleshooting.Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, or SAP.Ability to translate business and finance requirements into scalable Zuora solutions.Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and issues to non-technical Finance stakeholders.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to HaveCPA or formal accounting background (not required but beneficial).Experience in complex billing and revenue management environments.Prior experience scaling, optimizing, or evolving an already live Zuora platform.
Main ResponsabilitiesDesign, architect, and optimize Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue (RevPro) solutions to support evolving business and financial requirements.Analyze existing Zuora implementations and recommend scalable architecture and process improvements.Configure and maintain Zuora Billing, Revenue (RevPro), product catalog, custom fields, workflows, reporting, and invoice templates.Lead the implementation of configuration changes and deployments across sandbox and Production environments following change management best practices.Troubleshoot complex issues involving Zuora, APIs, middleware, integrations, and data flows between enterprise systems.Partner with Finance, Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Support audit requests and ensure compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition requirements and internal governance standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.Provide technical guidance and best practices for Zuora architecture, integrations, and platform enhancements.Support security administration, user access management, and release activities across Zuora environments.
