Key Responsibilities Provide accurate and culturally sensitive medical interpretation between Spanish and English during OPI and VRI sessions. Perform simultaneous interpretation and translation of medical documents to support healthcare providers and patients. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other relevant privacy regulations. Maintain high-quality interpretation standards by adhering to professional ethics and best practices. Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify terminology and context when necessary. Document session details and provide feedback to improve service quality and client satisfaction. What We're Looking For Required: Proficiency in both Spanish and English with excellent verbal communication skills. Demonstrated medical interpretation skills, including OPI and VRI experience. Ability to perform simultaneous interpretation and translate medical documents accurately. Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare environments. Ability to work independently in a remote setting with reliable internet connectivity. Professional certification in medical interpretation is preferred but not mandatory. Preferred: Experience working in the medical field or healthcare settings. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
