Job description
Upstaff is hiring a detail-oriented Accounting and Reception Clerk 3 in Truro, Nova Scotia. This full-time role combines essential accounting duties with front desk reception responsibilities to support smooth office operations and excellent client service. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, data entry, and financial reconciliation. Act as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and managing communications. Maintain precise records and documentation for all financial transactions in compliance with company policies. Oversee inventory management including tracking supplies and ordering as needed. Prepare and process financial documents, ensuring timely report and statement completion. Assist with office operations including scheduling meetings, coordinating phone systems, and managing the reception area. Utilize SAP and other accounting software tools to enhance process efficiency. Required and Preferred Qualifications Grade XI education with at least four years of relevant accounting or related experience. Strong supervisory skills with experience managing office operations. Proficiency in SAP and other accounting software. Demonstrated skills in record keeping, document preparation, and inventory management. Excellent time management, decision-making, and communication abilities. Experience working in a fast-paced office environment is preferred. This position is based in Truro, Nova Scotia and is not eligible for remote work. The hourly pay rate is $17 CAD.
